Itinerary

DAY 1: NAIROBI/MASAI MARA( L,D)

After breakfast, we pick you up from your hotel at 08:00AM.At 09:00hrs, we depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley view point to view the Escarpment. Descend the escarpment and drive to Narok-town where you will stop for lunch. After lunch proceed to Masai Mara arriving in good time for game drive en-route to your self-contain camp/

Masai Mara is famous for its black manned lions and yearly migration of wildebeests. Game viewing in the afternoon is guaranteed.

 Dinner and overnight at Rhino Tourist Camp/ or Similar (Full board Accommodation

 

The Masai Mara is Kenya’s arguably the most famous reserve. It’s smooth grass carpeted hills and plains dotted with flat topped acacia trees are full of rich faunal diversity, fulfilling the expectations of any visitor searching the African landscape for the BIG 5. Located west of the Great Rift Valley, Mara is a natural extension of the Serengeti plains in the neighboring Tanzania. The Mara River, the reserve’s backbone traverses north to south. This course is the natural barrier crossed each year by large migratory heard of wildebeest and zebra which march across the two parks in search of pasture, crossing en route, the crocodile infested Mara River. Coupled with ever watchful predatory cats in the midst, the annual migration is a risky affair and fraught with peril. Morning and evening game drives through the Marareserve gives you a chance of spotting a diverse array of wildlife including elephants, giraffe, black rhino, cheetah, gazelle, buffalo, hippo, various other herbivores and bird species.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA – WHOLE DAY

 A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich savannah grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-manned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found here in the Mara.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA/ NAKURU- (B, L, D)

Early morning breakfast  then leave to Lake Nakuru- a soda lake. Famously Lake Nakuru attracts vast numbers of fabulously colored pink flamingos to its shallow waters. Arriving late in the evening .Hippo, various animals, black rhinos, giraffe, lion, leopards and a profusion of birds are also present at the lake.

 

Dinner and overnight at a Golden palace / or Similar (Full Board Accommodation – B, L, D)

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU TO LAKE NAIVASHA (B,L,D)

After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in the Rhino sanctuary which is home to a colony of    about 25 white and black Rhinos. Predators are also resident in the Park. Later, we leave forLake Naivasha Arriving late in the afternoon. Afternoon leisure with the option of exploring this lakeby taking a boat ride to Crescent Island for a negotiable fee at the crescent you will see some animals like giraffes hippos etc,

 Dinner and overnight at Taphe Guest Resort.

DAY 5: LAKE NAIVASHA (HELLS GATE) AMBOSELI(B,L,D)

After breakfast proceed to hells gate park, Hell’s Gate national park famous for its natural geysers, star rock towers and geothermal steam that make it one of the most atmospheric parks in Africa. This park was named for its pair of massive red tinged cliffs framing a geothermic active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. later leave Naivasha for Amboseli arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at Kimana camp.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI FULL DAY (B,L,D)

After breakfast, proceed for full day game drive.. After Lunch siesta break then continue with gamedrive where plains game namely zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and various antelopes can be seen.

 You will have a great view of the peak of Kilimanjaro which may be seen during clear weather from the camp, anywhere in the park or from the Observation hill. Large herds of elephants and hippo can be seen bathing in the swamp grounds whose waters source is Mt. Kilimanjaro. Hyenas laughing, lions growling, buffaloes blindly grazing in the fields and other species of wildlife and birds. Dinner

 

Dinner and overnight stay at Aa Lodge

DAY 7: AMBOSELI - TSAVO WEST (B,L,D)

On this day leave Amboseli for Tsavo West Game en route toTsavo west check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the rhino sanctuary and return to the Lodge where there is usually a leopard trap and if you are lucky you will see it.

Dinner and overnight at Rhino Valley (Full board Accommodation)

DAY 8: TSAVO WEST - TSAVO EAST(B,L,D)

Early morning breakfast game drive with a visit to Mzima Springs later on depart Tsavo West for Tsavo East which is renowned for its large numbers of elephants and the famous man eating lions Game en route to the camp, Tsavo East. Check in and have lunch. In the afternoon, another game drives at the park later dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY 9: TSAVO EAST - NAIROBI. (B, L)

Early morning game drive return to your lodge for full breakfast, after breakfast check out of the park then drive you to Nairobi arriving late in the evening.
