Upon your morning arrival in Nairobi, our team will warmly welcome you, provide an introduction to your safari, and introduce you to your driver-guide. After the briefing, you’ll set off on a picturesque drive to Samburu, with stops along the way for rest breaks and to admire the stunning Kenyan landscapes and have lunch on the way.
Upon reaching Samburu, you’ll check in at Umonja camp. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot the famous “Special Five” unique to this reserve, along with the Big Five and a variety of bird species that thrive in this area. As evening approaches, take in the magnificent sunset over Samburu’s breathtaking scenery before heading back to the camp for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Your day starts with a hearty breakfast at the camp, followed by check-out as you prepare for the journey to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. As you leave Samburu, you’ll enjoy an en-route guided morning game drive, giving you a final chance to spot wildlife and take in the scenic beauty of the region.
The drive to Ol Pejeta in Nanyuki offers picturesque views of Kenya’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival at the conservancy, renowned for its successful rhino conservation, you’ll witness one of the largest populations of rhinos, including both black and white species. Settle into your accommodation and get ready for more wildlife encounters, as Ol Pejeta is home to a wide range of animals, including elephants, lions, and cheetahs.
Your day begins with an early morning game drive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy, lasting around four hours, giving you ample time to explore the park and spot its incredible wildlife, including rhinos and other iconic species. After the game drive, you’ll embark on a scenic journey to Amboseli National Park, with a stop along the way to enjoy lunch.
Upon arriving at Amboseli, you’ll check in at Manjaro Camp, where you’ll be welcomed with a relaxing atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in for a peaceful overnight stay, surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.
Your day begins with an exciting six-hour morning game drive in Amboseli, giving you ample time to explore the park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes, including views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Afterward, you’ll depart for Arusha, crossing the Namanga border into Tanzania. Upon arrival, you’ll check in at Kinzomba Budget Hotel, where you’ll spend the night, resting up for the next leg of your adventure.
You’ll depart from Arusha and journey to the Serengeti, arriving in time for an evening game drive. As the sun sets over the plains, you’ll have the chance to spot incredible wildlife in one of Africa’s most iconic parks. After the game drive, you’ll head to Nyani Public Camp, where you’ll enjoy a hearty dinner and settle in for an overnight stay under the stars.
Your day starts with an exhilarating six-hour morning game drive in Central Serengeti, offering plenty of opportunities to witness the park’s abundant wildlife in action. After the game drive, you’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you’ll head to Simba Public Campsite, where you’ll enjoy dinner and spend the night surrounded by the stunning crater landscape.
Your day starts with an immersive six-hour exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll experience some of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. As you descend into the crater, you’ll have the chance to see a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, and rhinoceroses, all set against the stunning backdrop of the ancient volcanic caldera.
After your exhilarating time in the crater, you’ll journey back to Arusha. Along the way, you’ll reflect on the incredible sights and experiences of the day. Upon arriving in Arusha, you’ll check in at Kinzomba Budget Hotel. Enjoy a restful evening at the hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for the next chapter of your adventure.
You will be picked by an English speaking guide at Arusha who will drive you to Materuni Village. Upon arrival you will register at the village office before the trip begins.
First you will visit the waterfall, which are around a 40-minutes’ walk away. On your way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, and village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfall, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim so don’t forget your swimwear!
After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You will also have an opportunity to taste our local banana beer- definitely no to be missed! But that’s not all, next the coffee awaits you where you will learn how coffee is cultivated dried roasted and processed. You will also be invited to help with the grinding of coffee, which is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances – a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Before you leave, you’re served with the coffee you made and appreciate the views of the surrounding rainforest.
After the visit at Materuni village, your trip continues to the Kikuletwa Hot Springs. The ride to the hot springs takes about an hour and 20 minutes and leads partly over bumpy slopes. First, we go past cane plantations and then to African scrubland. Dried river beds, baobab and acacia trees accompany us on the way. The Kikuletwa hot springs also known as Chemka Hot Springs are close to the village of Rundugai and are one of the most beautiful places in Tanzania to relax. The small pond is surrounded by palm and fig trees with winding roots and the crystal clear, turquoise water invites you to a refreshing bath. Although they are called hot springs, the water in Kikuletwa is not truly hot but refreshing, as the water source is fed by Kilimanjaro itself. Enjoy a wonderful afternoon just as you want, in the sun dozing, chatting with the locals at the small bar, or swimming.
We leave the hot springs in the late afternoon (just before sunset) and go board you flight to Rwanda at Kilimanjaro airport.
Our guide/driver Picks you up from your hotel. You will do short tour of Kigali city such as visiting Kigali Genocide memorial center which honors the victims of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide and serves as a place for reflection and education. It features exhibits detailing the events of the genocide, mass graves where over 250,000 victims are buried, and a section dedicated to children. Visitors can learn about Rwanda’s history, pay respects, and reflect on the country’s journey toward reconciliation and healing. After that cross the border to Bwindi impenetrable national park. This is the lushest highland rain forest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops and papyrus swamps. Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth.
