Itinerary

Depart from Arusha early in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, obtain your park permit and prepare for an afternoon game drive in the Lemiyo area, known for its mix of wide grasslands, woodlands, and the park's iconic baobab trees.
Home to the second-highest concentration of wildlife in Tanzania, Tarangire boasts a vast population of elephants – keep an eye out for these gentle giants! You might also encounter zebras, gazelles, wildebeest, giraffes, and even lions and cheetahs. Spend the night at the comfortable Kicchugu Camp

Dedicate today to further exploring Tarangire National Park. Venture into the Silale Swamp area, a vast green plateau offering a contrasting landscape. This area attracts a variety of animals seeking water at the swamp. Enjoy a break at the Silale picnic area, taking in the breathtaking views before returning to your camp for relaxation.

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area awaits. This vast region encompasses plains, woodlands, lakes, and volcanoes. The Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed caldera, is a must-see on any Tanzanian itinerary.
Instead of the usual crowded viewpoints, opt for a thrilling afternoon walking safari along the crater rim. Witness the breathtaking panorama of the crater floor, teeming with wildlife 600 meters below. Check in to your lodge and enjoy a magical sunset overlooking the crater.

Start your day with an invigorating morning game drive within the crater. Aim for an early entry to maximize your chances of witnessing wildlife roaming freely before the crowds arrive. Ngorongoro boasts the highest concentration of predators in Tanzania, including lions and endangered black rhinos.
Explore the diverse landscapes within the crater, searching for elephants in the lush Lereal forest, flamingos at Lake Magadi, and hippos at the Ngoitoktok Springs. Enjoy a picnic lunch at this scenic spot, but be cautious of the playful black kites known for stealing food!

If your visit coincides with the Great Migration, head towards the northern part of Serengeti National Park. Prepare for a scenic yet lengthy drive, but the reward is undeniable. Upon reaching the Mara River, you'll be mesmerized by the lush green landscape, a stark contrast to the drier savannah.
Travel along the main road to the Bologonya gate before taking seasonal paths westward towards the Mara River. An early departure from Central Serengeti is crucial to reach your lodge by late afternoon and enjoy a well-deserved rest with a breathtaking sunset view

Leave your camp early and head towards the iconic Mara River, where you might witness the awe-inspiring wildebeest crossing. With 11 known crossing points, your experienced guide will use their network to locate the best spot for observation. Witnessing this spectacle is a matter of luck, but the patience will be rewarded with a sight that will leave you speechless.
Spend the rest of the day game driving all the way to the Kenyan border, marveling at the vast plains teeming with tens of thousands of wildebeest. Return to your camp for a final evening under the African stars.

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the park, cherishing the memories of your incredible safari adventure. Embark on a journey back to Arusha, where your tour concludes.
